Job Summary:
As a Payroll Recruitment Consultant at JGA Recruitment, your primary responsibility will be to source, screen, and present candidates for payroll-related positions to our clients. You will build and maintain relationships with both clients and candidates, providing consultative guidance throughout the recruitment process. Your expertise in payroll and understanding of client requirements will ensure successful placements and client satisfaction. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong network within the payroll industry, and a passion for helping candidates and clients achieve their recruitment goals.
Key Duties:
- Partner with clients to understand their payroll staffing needs, including desired qualifications, skills, and experience.
- Conduct comprehensive searches for qualified candidates using various recruitment channels, such as job boards, social media, and networking.
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates’ skills and qualifications to ensure suitability for specific payroll positions.
- Provide guidance and advice to candidates regarding their career options, interview preparation, and resume enhancement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates to ensure long-term partnerships and repeat business.
- Actively network and engage with payroll professionals to build a strong talent pipeline.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate and client records in our recruitment database.
- Coordinate and facilitate interviews between clients and candidates, managing the scheduling and feedback process.
- Negotiate and finalize employment offers, ensuring a smooth transition for successful candidates.
- Stay updated on industry trends, payroll regulations, and best practices to provide expert advice to clients and candidates.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant, preferably with a focus on payroll recruitment.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, roles, and industry trends.
- Strong understanding of payroll software and systems commonly used in the industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and candidates.
- Solid experience in candidate sourcing, screening, and assessment methodologies.
- Proficiency in utilizing various recruitment channels and tools, including job boards, social media, and applicant tracking systems.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to establish trust and credibility with clients and candidates.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills to facilitate successful placements.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements is advantageous.
- Existing network and connections within the payroll industry is highly desirable.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving recruitment targets and delivering high-quality service to clients.
- Professional certifications in recruitment or HR are a plus.
- Familiarity with payroll-specific certifications (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional, Payroll Compliance Practitioner) is beneficial.
