You will be responsible for…

  • Ensuring the day to day duties of the Payroll department are completed. You will be responsible for the development, implementation and administration of our payroll systems and procedures to ensure compliance, accuracy and efficiency.
  • Processing high volume Payroll, so ideally will need experience with high volume payroll in a fast paced environment. 
  • Managing a small team of Payroll Administrators

Payroll Manager – Newport, Shropshire – £35k

To excel in this position, you must have experience handling high volumes of payroll and be comfortable taking sole control of all payroll elements.

Payroll Manager – Key responsibilities:

  • Preparing monthly and weekly payrolls, bonus payments, checking variances and importing into their payroll system.
  • Drive process standarisation.
  • Ensure that all payroll deadlines are met including the tax year-end procedures.
  • Assist the team with the preparation of the annual staffing budget.
  • Manage the Apprenticeship Levy including all associated payments and costings.
  • You will also be involved in the implementation of a new business software.

Payroll Administrator – Qualifications: 

  • The CIPP qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience managing both weekly and monthly payrolls.
  • Ability to work well in high pressure situations.

A small Dorset-based organisation are seeking the services of a 1st class, experienced Senior Payroll Administrator to join their busy team and act as the sole payroll professional processing for c.100 clients using Brightpay. 

Client Payroll Manager – Key responsibilities: 

  • Processing end to end client payroll in a busy team.
  • Manage your own portfolio of complex clients.
  • Statutory payments – Statutory Sick Pay, Statutory Maternity Pay, PAYE and National Insurance etc.

A leading organisation based in Reading has an urgent requirement for a UK Payroll & Benefits Specialist with EMEA payroll knowledge to join their business. As the UK Payroll & Benefits Specialist you will be solely responsible for working with the external payroll providers and the internal finance team to ensure that the UK and EMEA payroll is accurately processed on time. Furthermore, you will manage the administration of all benefits and liaise with benefit providers across all countries.
