Human resources information systems (HRIS) Managers are HR professionals who manage the implementation and maintenance of HRIS software platforms that facilitate HR features for a company.

At the most basic level, HRIS should be able to streamline payroll and benefits information for a company’s human resources (HR) department. The HRIS manager creates or utilises a software platform that makes it easy for staff to enter basic payroll information including exemptions and withholding and deductions for each worker in the company. They adapt the system to incorporate all organisation-specific requirements.
