Business Requirement
JGA Recruitment are preferred suppliers to Carnival Group including P&O Cruises, Cunard, Princess Cruises, Seabourn Cruise Line, P&O Cruises Australia, Holland America Line, Carnival Cruises, AIDA and Costa. Carnival underwent significant organisational expansion and corporate restructuring that requires a qualified HR professional to support multiple payroll functions across the whole portfolio of brands in all operating countries.
Recruitment Requirement
4 x consecutive HR Development Consultant, 12 month fixed term contract in Southampton.
Recruitment Activity Performance
Competing alongside a large number of leading HR specific recruitment agencies and a selection of generalist agencies all briefed at the same time JGA were invited to recruit for this role as a matter of urgency. Candidates attended a 3 stage interview process and needed 5 years referencing along with proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

HR Development consultants with specific organisational experience, skill sets and flexibility are few and far between. This HR Development Consultant role has very specific requirements with candidates requiring a mixture of learning and development, training and training course development experience for a fixed period only. Carnival require candidates with corporate / blue chip experience and roles are initially offered as 12 month fixed term contracts with the possibility of a permanent role.
